With only a matter of moments to go until THE EVENT of the year, we thought it would be helpful to give you some information about logistics for the night:

TIMINGS

19.00 Event starts

00.15 Music stops and bars close

00.30 Event ends

PARKING

If you would like to drive to the event, please use the staff car park on the right as you come down the school drive. Please park considerately and within the marked bays! You are welcome to leave your car overnight. If the staff car park is full, you may park in the Pre-Prep Car Park which will be open.

PLEASE AVOID PARKING ON THE TEAR DROP .

DROP OFF / PICK UP

If you are coming to the event by taxi, please ask your driver to go round the tear drop and stop where appropriate to let you out.

If you are being collected at the end of the night, please arrange to meet your taxi on the tear drop

ON ARRIVAL

We will be running a guest list system at the entrance; please give your name to one of the hosts when you arrive and you will be given a wristband. Please put this on straight away and keep on for the evening.

Once you step off the red carpet, please collect your complimentary drink before moving into the world of 80s Movies!

We advise you to get there in good time.. you don’t want to miss Mr Beardmore-Gray’s arrival!!

Please note that the complimentary drinks will be served until 7.45pm.

BARS

There will be 2 bars this year; one will be located at the end of the marquee closest to the entrance to the ball, and the other will be located outside the far end of the marquee.

Bars will be operating a CARD ONLY payment system.FOOD

Your ticket includes canapes and bowl food from the wonderful Greens Catering. There will be plenty of food and it will be brought to you. If you have notified us of specific food allergies ahead of the event, please make yourself known to the catering staff and they will have your food ready for you.

LOOS

Please note that the school loos will not be in use this year. We have hired a loo trailer which will be positioned behind the far end of the marquee.

RAFFLE

We are very excited to be running a raffle, with a chance to win one of 3 incredible prizes (please see the Raffle page for more details). We will be selling tickets between 7pm and 9pm and will circulate as much as possible during this time so that everyone has a chance to buy their tickets (we will be taking CARD PAYMENTS ONLY) . Raffle tickets are priced at £20 each, or £60 for 5 (Buy 3, get 2 free!)

Mr Beardmore-Gray will draw the raffle and announce the 3 lucky winners at approximately 9pm.

SMOKING/VAPING

If you wish to smoke or vape, please do so only in the designated smoking area and dispose of your cigarette waste in the ash trays / sand buckets provided.

LOST PROPERTY

If you find anything that you believe has been lost, please hand it in to the main bar in the marquee.

If you lose something at the event, please ask at the main bar before leaving to see if it has been handed in. After the event, please email summerparty@moulsford.com and we will do our best to reunite you with your lost items.

FIRST AID / MEDICAL HELP

If you require any medical help, please make yourself known to a member of the Ball Committee, or someone working at the event. We will have a First Aider on site and she can take you to the Medical Room for any help or treatment needed.

RUBBISH

Please place any rubbish / bottles / empty plastics in the bins provided. Please remember that this is your child’s school and we would like to keep litter around the grounds to an absolute minimum!
